Wild Card Playoff predictions

After seventeen weeks of Regular Season action, the Playoffs are finally here. The first round kicks off this Saturday with the Wild Card games.

For those of you that don’t know, here are the seeds for the Playoffs.

AFC

1. New England Patriots

2. Baltimore Ravens

3. Houston Texans

4. Denver Broncos

5. Pittsburgh Steelers

6. Cincinnati Bengals

NFC

1. Green Bay Packers

2. San Francisco 49ers

3. New Orleans Saints

4. New York Giants

5. Atlanta Falcons

6. Detroit Lions

The first two seeds get a first-round bye, and so the wildcard games see the number 3 seed vs  the number 6 seed and the number 4 vs the number 5 seed.

I shall now try to predict the results of the games and give the tv details for all the games.

AFC

6. Cincinnati Bengals at 3. Houston Texans

Players to watch out for: Bengals- QB Andy Dalton, WR A.J. Green, OLB Thomas Howard

Players to watch out for: Texans- WR Andre Johnson, DE Conor Barwin, OLB Brian Cushing

Day, time and channel: Saturday 9:30pm Sky Sports 2

Prediction: Bengals 20 Texans 14

Bengals would advance to play the number1 seed New England Patriots

5. Pittsburgh Steelers at 4. Denver Broncos

Players to watch out for: Steelers- QB Ben Roethlisberger, OLB James Harrison S Troy Polamalu

Players to watch out for: Broncos- QB Tim Tebow, RB Willis McGahee, OLB Von Miller

Day, time and channel: Sunday 9:30pm Sky sports 2

Prediction: Steelers 28 Broncos 14

Steelers would advance to play the number2 seed Baltimore Ravens

NFC

6. Detroit Lions at 3. New Orleans Saints

Players to watch out for: Lions- WR Calvin Johnson, DT Ndamukong Suh MLB Stephen Tulloch

Players to watch out for: Saints- QB Drew Brees, TE Jimmy Graham S Roman Harper

Day, time and channel: Sunday 1:00am Sky Sports 2

Prediction: Lions 28 Saints 35

Saints would advance to play the number3 seed San Francisco 49ers

5. Atlanta Falcons at 4. New York Giants

Players to watch out for: Falcons- QB Matt Ryan, OLB Sean Weatherspoon MLB Curtis Lofton

Players to watch out for: Giants- QB Eli Manning, WR Victor Cruz, DE Jason Pierre-Paul

Day, time and channel: Sunday 6:00pm Sky , Sports 2

Prediction: Falcons20 Giants34

Giants would advance to play the number1 seed Green Bay Packers

  1. I agree with all your picks, but do you really think Tebow is gonna put up 14 on the steel curtain?

  2. If Seneca Wallace can put up 9 on the steelers defense, Tebow should manage to put up 14.
